AI/ML Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the delivery of AI and machine learning projects from concept to production, ensuring timelines, budgets, and strategic goals are met
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders to define project scope, success metrics, and delivery milestones
• Coordinate model development workflows, testing cycles, and deployment plans across cross-functional teams
• Act as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating complex ML concepts into actionable plans
• Manage external vendors, cloud infrastructure partners, or consultancy support as needed for ML initiatives
• Ensure robust documentation, project reporting, and model governance throughout the project lifecycle
• Drive the implementation of new tools, frameworks, and infrastructure to support scalable ML experimentation and production systems

Required Skills and Experience:

• Exceptionally organised and analytical with strong planning and delivery skills
• Proven experience managing data, analytics, or machine learning projects end-to-end
• Solid understanding of AI/ML workflows, data pipelines, and product integration challenges
• Confident communicator with the ability to manage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Familiarity with modern data stack tools and cloud-based ML environments (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure)
• A proactive, detail-focused mindset with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in a STEM subject, Business Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience
• Experience working within tech, SaaS, or high-growth digital businesses
• Exposure to Python, Jupyter, SQL, or ML lifecycle tools is a plus (but not essential)
• Background in business analysis or technical product ownership would be advantageous
